It is with pleasure that we embrace the arrival of the new Rector of St Giles-in-the-Fields, Reverend Tom Sander, to the Trustees of both the Alms Charity and Education Charity.

Coming from two village communities in West Hertfordshire, Tom has experience of working with charities and Almshouses.  He brings a new and valued perspective to the activities of the charities, especially joining us during full lockdown whilst we find ways to continue supporting our community at such a time.

Tom is looking forward to meeting people and learning about the various grant-funding opportunities that we offer.

When not serving the local parish, he enjoys long-distance bike riding, and spending time with his partner and his dog, Ambrose.
