Area of benefit

The map below shows the boundaries of both charities areas of benefit.  The Alms charity is in blue and the Education charity is in green.  All applicants for Grants for Individuals must live in the blue area.

Both charities include the historic parishes of St Giles-in-the-Fields, St George’s, Bloomsbury and St Paul’s, Covent Garden – parts of Bloomsbury and Covent Garden.  Our Education charity also covers south Westminster.

Alms Charity – the area of benefit is the parishes of St Giles-in-the-Fields, St George’s, Bloomsbury and St Paul’s, Covent Garden.  The parish boundaries do not match local authority boundaries, but the area includes most of Bloomsbury, and Holborn & Covent Garden wards in Camden, plus small parts of St James’s and West End wards in Westminster.  You can see if you live within the area of benefit by using the street name list on the ALMS page within Grants for Individuals.
