We are delighted to welcome Abul Choudhury, who has dedicated his working life to supporting the needs of vulnerable older people.

For nearly 30 years, Abul has been the Centre Manager at Age UK Camden’s Great Croft Day Care Centre, an oasis of calm and camaraderie near busy King’s Cross.  He seeks to improve the quality of life for those to come to the centre.  During this time, he has responded to significant changes such as the introduction of personal budgets and the recent pandemic and cost of living crisis.  He was recognised by LB Camden as a Covid Champion due to his continued efforts throughout the pandemic.

Abul will be an amazing addition to our Trustee Board as he has knowledge of the local community and understands the needs and challenges faced by older people which we hope will benefit our Almshouse residents.
